Overview
Outbound Campaigns automatically dial through a list of contacts, one after another, so nobody has to dial manually. Each connected call is handed to either:
Contacts are queued and dialled to whichever agent — or team of agents — you assign to the Campaign.
Contacts are queued for a pre-configured AIVA agent, which runs the conversation itself.
Human agent Campaigns and AI Voice Agent Campaigns are two separate, per-company entitlements. Having one enabled does not imply the other.
How a Campaign works
A Campaign moves through a small lifecycle:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
draft | Created, editable, nothing dialled yet. |
in_progress | Launched — the call queue is built and dialling has started. |
paused | Dialling stopped, queue preserved. |
completed | Every contact has gone through the queue. |
archived | Retired. Read-only from here on. |
A Campaign is company-owned rather than tied to a single user, and can be assigned to several agents or teams at once. This is a different resource from Dialer Campaign, which belongs to the legacy Power Dialer feature — a per-user list of numbers dialled one at a time from the app. The two don't share data.
What's next
Place your first call walks through creating a Campaign, loading it with contacts, assigning who calls them, and launching it — for both a human agent Campaign and an AI Voice Agent Campaign.
